Chibhabha took 4-25 to bowl out Afghanistan for 161 and successfully defend the target of 226 runs at Sharjah in United Arab Emirate. This result also means that the series is also squared now with 2-2 and one more game to go.

Chasing a moderate score of 226 runs, Afghanistan lost early wickets which harmed their scoring rate and at last cost them the game. Mohammad Shahzad was left out of partners with four wickets down for just 52 runs on the board. They lost their one opener, Noor Ali Zardan, in the first over of the inning when wicketkeeper Mutumbami caught him off Mazdiva. Afghanistan faced a big blow in fifth over when they lost their skipper Asghar Stanikzai off Mazdiva caught by Chibhabha. Zimbabwe were brilliant in the field which put pressure on the batsmen when they were not allowed to rotate the strike. This pressure resulted in big wickets when the biggest threat for Zimbabwe, Mohammad Shehzad was caught in front of the wicket off Chibhabha. At that time, Afghanistan were reduced to 88 for 5 and Zimbabwe had the upper hand on the game. Now it was just the matter of time for Zimbabwe before the bowl out Afghanistan and take away the game.

Chibhabha was the pick of the bowler for Zimbabwe as he picked up four wickets. Mazdiva, Jongwe and Cremer picked up two wickets each.

Earlier in the day, Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to bat first. Moor and Chibhabha scored their respective half century and added 92 runs for the first wicket. Moor was little more positive in his approach than Chibhabha. But once the opening stand was broken, Afghanistan kept chipping in with wickets at regular interval. Most of the batsmen got the start but neither of them were able to convert that into a big score or anything significant. For Afghanistan, new boy Rashid Khan dismissed both the openers and finished his quota at 3-43.
